Joanne Neville MSOM, L.Ac.
Joanne Neville is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. She holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado (2002). Joanne is nationally certified by the NCCAOM and holds Diplomats in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She has had a private Acupuncture practice in Boulder County, CO. since 2002 and is happy to be joining the team at Niwot Natural Medicine.
Joanne served on the board of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado from 2002-2006, has been the Clinic Director at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder since 2008 and has been an Associate Professor at the college since 2006, teaching classes and supervising clinics.
In 2018 she studied in Harbin, China at Heilongjiang University Hospital which specializes in neurological medicine. This led to a special interest in learning how to best treat neurological disorders.
In addition to her passion for Chinese Medicine, she has been studying the use of high-grade essential oils since early 2020, often incorporating them into her acupuncture treatments.
Niwot has been her home since 1995 and you will often find her out on walks through town greeting everyone she knows. In her free time Joanne loves to hike in the beautiful Colorado landscape, she crafts, dances to live music and is a daily meditator. She loves to travel and spend time with her husband and grandchildren.

New Patient Visit w/ JOANNE NEVILLE: $185
1 hour consultation and 30 minutes of treatment
This visit is designed for patients that are new to Niwot Natural Medicine that want to see Joanne Neville. Established patients of the clinic or Joanne’s existing patients from her previous practice do not need to do a new patient consultation. This session entails a full diagnostic intake and acupuncture treatment with the addition of other therapies as needed, such as cupping, moxa, plum blossom, guasha, shiatsu/tuina, essential oils, nutritional advice and herbs.
Long Return Visit w/ joanne neville: $120
10-15 MINUTE CONSULTATION AND 40-45 MINUTES OF TREATMENT
For established patients at Niwot Natural Medicine, this is the ideal follow-up session with Joanne. It includes a consultation, acupuncture and other modalities as needed (cupping, moxibustion, plum blossom, guasha, shiatsu/tuina or essential oils) to optimize health and help you achieve your treatment goals
Short Acupuncture w/ JOANNE NEVILLE: $90
5-10 minute consultation and 30-35 minutes of treatment
For established patients of Niwot Natural Medicine, this is a great option for a time and cost effective tune-up acupuncture only session.
Cupping Only: $45
20 minutes of treatment
This option is for existing clients of Janine or Joanne for people who would like an add-on to their short treatment or just need cupping and don’t have time for a long treatment. This can consist of Retention cupping, Flash cupping (great for beginning stages of a cold) or Sliding cupping where oil is applied and the cups are moved around on the affected area.
Symphony of the Cells: $60
20-30 minutes of treatment
This treatment is for existing patients and provides an essential oil application that is tailored to support your existing chronic health condition.

Children (12 and under)
New Patient Visit w/ JOANNE: $120
30 Minute consultation w/ 20-30 minutes of treatment
This visit is designed for children 12 and under who are new patients at Niwot Natural Medicine seeking treatment with Joanne. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine is one of the safest, most gentle and effective therapies for pediatric cases. Joanne will not always use needles during a session. Treatment may include shonishin (a Japanese acupressure technique), moxibustion and nutritional or herbal recommendations.
Return Child Visit w/ JOANNE: $60
5-10 minute consultation w/ 20-30 minutes of treatment
Every treatment is customized to your child for that day and presentation.
